 History Ancient Greeks

Greece grows bigger

Greece in 750 BC was very overcrowded. Much of the land in Greece is rocky and not very good for farming, so many ancient Greeks began to move away and to search for new places to live. The Greeks who moved started colonies in other parts of Europe, around the Mediterranean Sea. Whether the Greeks went to France, Turkey or Bulgaria, they took their own way of life with them and became great traders and travellers.
